Michael Bryant, once the boss of Ontario's prosecutors, used to tell everyone he was "tough on crime". Since becoming a criminal defence lawyer, he has a new perspective on the criminal justice system.
What makes Bryant's story all the more interesting is that his new career was inspired, in part, after he, himself, was accused of some serious criminal charges in 2009. Represented by Marie Henein, the charges were eventually dropped by the prosecution team before trial.
